PNEUMA is the tonal heart of ROGERIAN, lifted out and rebuilt as a focused standalone.

A seven-band parametric equalizer with program-dependent dynamics on every band and a parallel harmonic-saturation stage underneath. It is surgical enough for corrective work and characterful enough to be the reason a track finally sits — and it carries the same matched-analog curves and gold-on-graphite look as the suite it comes from.

PNEUMA — Greek for breath — is the voice of the suite: the stage where a sound is shaped and given air. It shares the Rogerian Dialog Suite's design language and DSP lineage, and runs as a completely independent plugin. Open it on a single channel, a bus, or the mix — no parent plugin required.

ANALOG-MATCHED EQUALIZATION

Seven fully parametric bands handling bells, high/low shelves, and filtration boundaries. Digital response tracks structural analog prototypes directly up to Nyquist limits via Matched-Z curve design, ensuring high-frequency adjustments preserve absolute clarity without naive smearing.

THREE CURVE CHARACTERS

Bell filters can be instantly morph-mapped across three target response behaviors without shifting your core frequency, gain, or width attributes:

  • · COOL — Splits the band into dual offset parameters to enforce a flat-topped plateau. Lowers overall resonance across wide paths to keep broad tonal sweeps from sounding shouty.
  • · SHARP — Stacks a narrow, resonant apex on top of a foundational base curve. Groups energy directly at the center frequency for targeted resonance carving.
PER-BAND DYNAMICS

Engaging the DYN control turns any individual band node into an active dynamic engine. Target filters scale dynamically to program level triggers—enforcing boosts that only bloom on performance swells or cuts that clamp down tightly as harmonic resonances go hot. Tames vocals, anchors low end, and opens high sheen using transparent tracking ballistics.

AIR & BODY HARMONIC COLOUR

A dual parallel saturation engine running separate paths to eliminate intermodulation artifacts:

  • · BODY Generator Even-harmonic warmth targeting the low mids. Adds low tube-style weight, with a BIAS macro that sweeps characters between tube and tape responses.
